Watch live sports on a crypto sportsbook: what Vave streams, and what it doesn't
Guides · live streams
Vave streams live events to signed-in players. On 19 September 2026 we went through its live and racing sections as a guest and noted which events carried a stream. Some top football leagues didn't show one while we looked, so this page separates what we saw from what we didn't.
Most crypto sportsbooks sell you the bet and leave you to find the game. Vave is one of the few that puts video next to the odds. What follows is what we saw in its live section on 19 September 2026, as a guest, without signing in. We report what we saw, and we say plainly what we didn't see.
Vave live section, 19 September 2026. The small ▶ next to the time marks an event with a stream for signed-in players: here WTA São Paulo, MLS, Argentina's Primera LPF and MLB.
How a Vave stream works
In the live list, some events carry a small ▶ next to the minute or the set score. Open the event and three icons sit at the top of the match card: the scoreboard, the video and the statistics. Tap the video without an account and the panel says ”Sign in to watch. To view the online broadcast, you need to Log in or Sign Up.”
That's the whole rule on the page: log in, and the stream opens in the match card, next to the markets. Whether you also need a funded account or a placed bet, the panel doesn't say. We didn't test it, so we won't claim it either way.
Streams are set per event, not per league. A tournament can have some games streamed and some not. The ▶ appears once a game is live, never before: in the prematch list, no event carried the icon.

Every live event we opened in football, tennis and basketball that day had the ▶:
- Football: MLS (New York City FC v New York Red Bulls), the Argentine Primera and the Uruguayan first division.
- Tennis: WTA Guadalajara, WTA São Paulo and the Davis Cup.
- Basketball: the WNBA and Mexico's Liga de Ascenso.
That's a snapshot of one evening, not a catalogue. The live list changes by the hour. What it shows is that streaming is ordinary on Vave, not a feature kept for a few showcase games.
Racing: nearly every race has a video
Vave's racing list on 19 September 2026. The camera icon marks a race with video: Prairie Meadows, Taree, Charles Town, Yonkers and Trentham among them. The Japanese races had none.
The racing section is where streams are most consistent. Horse racing, harness racing and greyhounds are listed race by race, and most rows carry a camera icon. The tracks that night were mostly American, Australian and New Zealand: Yonkers Raceway, Charles Town, Remington Park and Prairie Meadows in the US; Taree in Australia; Ellerslie and Trentham in New Zealand.
Racing suits streaming because each race lasts a couple of minutes and the next one starts a few minutes later. If you bet on racing, the video isn't a bonus. It's how you follow the bet.
What we haven't seen: the big European leagues
No LaLiga or Premier League game was live during our check, so we can't tell you whether Vave streams them. The rights to those leagues sit with broadcasters in each country: ESPN+ and NBC in the US, Sky Sports and Premier Sports in the UK, DAZN in Germany and Spain, and so on. Bookmaker streams of those leagues are the exception, not the rule.
So on every LaLiga and Premier League match page, we list the official broadcasters first. We'll only write that a match can be watched on Vave once we've seen one of those games streamed there. When we do, we'll date it on this page.
Streaming and live betting together
The point of a stream on a sportsbook isn't free TV. It's watching the market and the game on one screen. Three things to know before you bet in play:
- The picture is behind the market. A stream runs a few seconds behind the real action, and the odds usually move before you see why. Don't try to beat the price with what you see on screen: it's older than the price.
- Markets get suspended. Around a goal, a break of serve or a penalty, the book closes the market for a moment. That's normal, not a fault.
- Stake size doesn't change. Live betting is fast. Set the amount before the game starts, as in responsible betting, and don't raise it because the picture makes the bet feel surer.
Watching on your phone
The stream plays inside the match card, in the browser, on desktop and mobile. On a phone, the video takes the top of the screen and the markets sit below it. On mobile data, a stream uses much more data than the odds alone. Wi-Fi is better for a whole match.
Where this fits on the site
Every match page shows three things in order: Vave's price for the game and the margin inside it, where the game is on TV, and the record between the two clubs. The streaming line on each page comes from this one, so when we see a new league streamed, every page for it updates. How we rank the books is in the crypto sportsbook ranking.
