How we rank crypto sportsbooks: five written checks and one real account

This site is run by a small desk that reads licence registers, sportsbook terms and odds lists. We don't take bets or hold money. Here's exactly what we check, where each fact comes from, and what we won't claim.

A ranking is only as good as the facts under it. So every cell in our crypto sportsbook table comes from a source you can check yourself, and every gap says why it's a gap.

The five written checks

  1. Licence in the register. We take the licence number a book prints and look it up in the regulator's own register. For Curaçao that's the Curaçao Gaming Authority's certificate portal; for Anjouan, the Gaming Board's public list. We record the holder, the number, the status and the domains the certificate names. A register entry is read by domain, not by brand, which is why we point out that Vave's certificate names vavegame.com.
  2. When documents can be asked. We read the book's terms for the clause on identity checks and quote its number. Most books reserve the right to ask at any time. A few name a threshold. What we score is whether the rule is written down.
  3. Withdrawal cap in writing. We look for a stated maximum per day, week or month. Few books publish one. Those that do let you plan a large withdrawal before you need it.
  4. Max win in writing. Every sportsbook limits what one customer can win. We look for the figure in its sports rules. “We may set limits” without a number doesn't pass.
  5. Sports rules read. We open the sportsbook rules on the live site and note the clause on obvious price errors: what happens to a bet placed on a price posted by mistake. A blocked rules page leaves the check open.

A book scores one point per check it passes, out of five. Books are sorted by that score, then by name.

The one check we can't do from a desk

Terms say what a book may do. Only an account shows what it does. We've put our own money through two books:

  • Vave: deposit, then withdrawals on 28 August and 2 September 2026, no documents requested. This is why Vave sits in row 1 regardless of score.
  • TrustDice: an earlier casino test, in which documents were requested once about 5,000 USDT had been withdrawn in total.

That's all. We don't write “tested” about anyone else, and we don't publish payout speeds: two withdrawals are an experience, not a statistic.

Sources we use, and ones we don't

We use: regulators' registers; each book's own terms and sports rules, read on its live site; Vave's prematch, live and casino lobbies, read as a guest; the openfootball archive for fixtures and results; leagues' and broadcasters' own announcements for TV rights.

We don't use: other review sites' figures, archived copies of terms, or anything a book says only in marketing. If the only copy of a clause we could reach is archived, the cell says “not read”.

Vave's LaLiga prematch list as a guest sees it on 19 September 2026. Every match page on this site takes its prices from this list.

Every day, a script opens Vave's LaLiga and Premier League prematch lists as a guest and reads the prices shown: 1X2, goal totals, handicaps. It works out the 1X2 margin for each game and writes it to the match pages. Nothing is clicked and no account is used. Each table carries the time of the snapshot, because prices move until kick-off. Streams

We write that an event can be watched on a sportsbook only after we've seen the stream offered for it. On 19 September 2026 that covered MLS, South American football, WTA and Davis Cup tennis, the WNBA and racing on Vave. It didn't yet cover LaLiga or the Premier League, so those pages list only the official broadcasters. See watch live sports.

Who writes

The site is written by the Best Crypto Sportsbook desk: people who read terms, registers and odds for a living. We don't use invented reviewer names. When something changes, a licence status, a clause, a stream, we update the page and the date at the top.

Money

We may earn a commission when someone opens a Vave account through our links. It pays for the site. It doesn't buy a place in the table: Vave is first because of the account test, and every other row is ordered by checks anyone can repeat.
